Proudly featuring some of the most well-known landmarks in Liverpool (including the Anderton Shearer Monument, St Mary’s Low House Catholic Church and a renovated Mine Works), history buffs, cultural enthusiasts and fans of Liverpools’ diversity will undoubtedly find plenty to see and do in the idyllic suburb of St Helens.

Is it all history and culture here?

Well, yes and no. The region is very proud of its history, much of which can be traced back to the 12th century. But over the past decade or so, extensive efforts have been made to modernise the area to great success. Nowadays you will find a very active and reliable bus service operating in the location, as well as several coaches that are available for booking ahead of time.

There is a fairly large population of over 100,000 people however, so if you’re looking for peace and harmony you might want to search elsewhere; but for those of you that enjoy nothing more than socialising and enjoying activities, you’ll be very pleased to learn that there are restaurants, cafés, bistros, a sports centre and more the closer that you get to the centre of the area.

And what about the salons?

We feel like we have nothing but good news to share with you today. If you’re a fan of beauty salons and hair clinics (and who wouldn’t be), then you’ll be excited to hear that there are several in this very region. There are a couple that offer therapies, others that offer hair treatments and even a few that can provide cosmetic procedures to those in need.

The best place to start is on our listings pages, where you will find the most up to date information for some of the best salons in this region (and within Liverpool in general). There’s no obligation to go ahead with a booking, so why not see what’s available and then decide for yourself if you fancy scheduling an appointment?
